1st INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION GELATO VERO

10-11-12 december 2021

INTRODUCTION:
The idea of this competition comes from the desire to spread the true culture of natural
gelato. The goal of the competition is to promote GELATO VERO (the real artisanal gelato!),
a gelato that is made entirely with high quality raw materials, to enhance the creativity and
knowledge of the contemporary gelato chef.

HONESTY AND FRANKNESS:
To give even more transparency and not to be conditioned, in the first two phases of the
competition, the jury will not know of the name of the gelato maker who made the gelato they are tasting. The jury will be made up of well known gelato chefs and professionals of the culinary sector (see rules for other details).

AWARDS:
There will be a trophy for the first three winners of the competition.
For the same winners there will be also a money prize of € 1350 in high quality raw materials.
All those who pass to the semifinal round will have a medal (4th place for all).
All competitors will receive a certificate of participation and the official apron of the “Gelato
Vero” Competition.

FINAL ROUND IN LIVE STREAMING:
The final round (see details in the rules) will be accessible to everyone on our social  channels and via zoom.

“TRUE” COMPETITION:
This will be the first #realgelato contest in two senses. It will be #real because only raw materials are allowed to make the gealto, but the winners will also be #real because the judging parameters are absolutely objective and clear for everyone.

REGISTRATION:
To register, you will need to send an email to scuolagelatonaturale@gmail.com attaching:

  • the registration form filled in entirely.
  • the receipt for the payment of the registration fee of 90 €
  • a valid document

Everything must be delivered no later than midnight on December 1st 2021.
